Gretchen Kernbach (2016) says that graduate-level papers need to observe several skills
such as quotation use, the purpose, conclusions, and transitions. Also, writing in the first person-
tense should be avoided as much as possible. Kernbach (2016) also says that graduate-level
papers need to be direct by avoiding expressions such as could be, perhaps or maybe.
Furthermore, graduate-level students need to read scholarly business articles and essays of other
students to work on their ability of proofreading and impressively highlighting phrases. Besides,
graduate-level papers need to have extensive research and higher level topics. Graduate level
students need to make sure that their papers have pathos, ethos, and pathos. On the other hand,
undergraduate papers target a teacher or general audience.
In my opinion, master’s level of academic writing requires a student or writer to be
conversant with writing thesis papers that are intended to analyze a particular field of study. The
final result of Master’s thesis leads to the reception of PhD. For that reason, doctorate academic
writing requires a student or writer to be highly experienced in writing thesis papers. For good
measure, masters-level requires a student to write more than one hundred pages, and the student
is expected to employ the analysis of others to give their search of their findings. Therefore, in
writing master’s level papers, writers are needed to remember that their critical and analytical
thinking level should portray the subject which they are more engrossed in pursing in their
course.
There are several ways that I prepare myself for the higher level of academic writing in
professional, social, personal and academic aspects. For instance, I have to carry out extensive
