Admission Essay
For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed to be a Physician Assistant. When think
about physician assistants, I only see excitement and happy life before me. Even as a child, I
sought it out, and realized that being a Physician Assistant runs in my veins. As a child, I knew
that life is an important element and saving it is a Godly thing one can do. The urge of saving
lives and making other individuals live a healthy life increased as days passed. The medical field
means a lot to me and I have been dreaming to become a Physician Assistant to ensure that
human beings have the chance to live an excellent life as far as healthcare service is concerned.
I was at Lebanon but moved here at the age of 17 and got married. It is unfortunate that I
could not become a doctor, as my heart wanted because of family responsibilities such bringing
up children. I had no option than to take health care management because it is still medical
related but not strenuous. Currently, I am a community relations director at a home care agency,
and this enables me to act as an intermediary between medical practitioners and patients who are
in need of home health care. In this position, I take part in organizing treatments, conducting
follow-ups after treatment, as well as staying in touch with patients in case the need help. To
some extent, I feel that I am doing something to save lives in one way or the other.
With the motivation, passion, and need to become an excellent healthcare worker, I
decided to go back to school and pursued a masters’ degree in health care administration. Over
the years, I have learnt and experienced a lot in the healthcare sector. However, my heart tells me
