A speech delivered by the then United States president Barrack Obama. The tribute
speech was sent to the family of the late South African president, Nelson Mandela on a
Tuesday at his (Mandela’s) memorial service. In his speech, president Obama starts by
expressing his tribute to the deceased’s wife, Graca Machel, the family, the South African
president, South African citizens and the whole world at large. Then he mentions some of the
attributes made by the late. In concluding his speech, president Obama praises the late
Mandela and offers a prayer that God may bless the people of South Africa and the soul of
the late Mandela.
