DARK SIDE TO SPORT
The issues of stereotyping have become an issue where the society fights against the hard
working athletes. For example, there is a common stereotype which believes that ‘all the black
athletes are rappers in future and all the rappers in their lifetime will want to be athletes.' Such is
a wrong assumption which will derail the progress of the athletes the future. The stereotype can
be regarded as the ‘enemy within' which seeks to bring down the hardworking individuals.

heroes, the hardworking females in some societies are stereotyped by being linked to having

efforts of striving to bring down the masculine domain of the athletics who engages in the sport.
While the leading females' students are mistaken to be the gays, it is crucial to restrict the
participation in athletics particularly on issues which make the assumption of the social
orientation of the female athlete (Magee, 2013). The issue is generally sensitive and goes against
the principles of the LGTB community as a whole.

involves a lot of exercises, and when left to perform alone, the young athletes can easily be
discouraged. Emotional support is, therefore, influential as it enables them to reach their goal.
The use of such supplements has been traced back to the Olympic Games which were held in
