Art Connection to the Modern World and Work Place
Introduction
For centuries, art industry has been affected by manipulation, discrimination hence have
contributed to its poor performance in the modern world and work place. There should be no
limits to creativity and artistic expression since they have a significant importance in the work
place and society. According to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 19, 1948,
everyone has the right to freedom of expression, which includes the freedom of impact
information and ideas through music, poetry, prose and visual art.
Creativity and Artistic Expression
Creativity and an artistic expression help in expressing one’s self and ideas, which
educates and informs people on different issues concerning them. Creativity and artistic
expression is necessary for health and artistic relay of ideas and information (Markusen &
Gadwa, 2010). Shame, privacy and social forbids against discovering certain areas of life
practice leads to can be expressed in different forms of art. Different people can interpret these
forms of art differently. Therefore, there should be no limitation in the way this information is
conveyed artistically. In addition, art generates income hence solves the problem of desperation
for money or neediness to exhibit artists work. It also makes artists to be self-censored or be
tempted to enter exploitative situations with unreasonable limits and requirements.
The need for cash and the desire of exposure enhances creativity in all fields that they are
involved in hence leading them to make good judgments. Lastly, I think it should be noted that
art promotes effective competition in all fields at the workplace through educative adverts,

poetry, prose, music and visual art thus acts as a channel of linking workers together. It also
helps in marketing of products and company’s goal s and visions (Hill, O'Sullivan & O'Sullivan,
2012). Its neatness and conformity gives a proficiency of technique that matters to art and
vividly give a significant content, ideas which promote talent in the modern world and work
place. In this regard art is created to fulfill two respects, its decorative and didactic forms of
expression and is a product of a highly creative mind laid on different techniques. Life culture is
the totally of socially transmitted behavior patterns.
Overlap Between Life Culture and Art
Life culture and art at their very core, they serve as some of the most significant,
dynamic, participation and social influences of human behavior and interactions. When
combined together; they have a capability of generating empathy, stir up dialogue, induce
reflection and create new bonds hence leading to flow of ideas in various fields and channels.
They also provide a commanding and democratic way of sharing, shaping and expressing human
values. In addition, culture and art provide room for exploring people’s inner capabilities and
give them insight on how they imagine and use different means to relate with each other. This
creates a good rapport among employees in an organization. As a result, the value of employees’
output is increased which translates to an increase in profit margins in the company.
Therefore, it is evident that culture and art go hand in hand and complement each other in
making working environment more contusive. Lastly but not least, they serve as part of the basis
for shaping peoples values like affiliation, a sense of belonging, self-respect, creativity, unity and
freedom (Markusen & Gadwa, 2010).

How Art Impacts Positively on Productivity and Success
Businesses in the world are facing stiff competitions amongst themselves. A new way to
improve on productivity, they should use art as a tool for attraction. Art has the following
impact on productivity and success. It increases brands importance, credibility and authority in
the eyes of customers hence promotes brands. On employee’s experience, it stimulates ideas,
promotes feeling of calmness and gives them something beautiful to look at where they spend
majority of their time (Markusen & Gadwa, 2010). This makes a difference in employee’s
satisfaction, productivity and well-being. It also affects the room atmosphere by evoking
feelings of peace or content in many viewers. A peaceful natural setting in company helps
employees feel happy and satisfied hence create general sense of calm in the office.
Study shows that art helps to attract and connect with client. For instance, hanging
photographs in offices and waiting areas makes them feel comfortable and even connect with
them on different levels. Lastly, it inspires and unlocks creative potentials thus generating
innovative ideas. The ideas lead to new business practices and promote campaigns, which in the
long run foster economic growth.
Awareness of Local and Global Culture in Art
The local crisis which are of different nature like political, economic and geostrategic
have rethink on how to do business and developed a global mindset. This has joint universal
talent development and management while building interlink ages between innovation and
diversity. The technological global culture has empowered various cultures and allowed self-
representation and information sharing on a completely new level where it has provided a

medium of image depiction and portraits thus accepted art. In the business sector, building
social investment is the third and most significant step towards universal thinking and social
understanding; it accepted art and called to creating trust relationships with confined
stakeholders including local customers, suppliers and staffs (Ferraro & Briody, 2017).
It is therefore right to conclude that art varies from culture to culture and there is no bad
or good art. The appropriateness of a piece of art depends on the culture and message being
conveyed. Different people interpret different pieces of art differently and have different taste
and preferences. Therefore, one piece of art may appear unappealing to one person but become
favorite piece to another person.
