I have always considered nursing as one of the most challenging and demanding careers

worldwide. Nonetheless, I believe that caring for other people provide greater rewards. I am

predominantly interested in joining a career to help me reach out to the needy members of the

society. In this case, joining the Associate of Science in nursing program at Florida National

University would allow me to realize my dreams. The nursing field requires dedicated, reliable,

and trusting individuals who cannot only create but also maintain meaningful relationships with

their clients quickly. Arguably, I possess these skills and competencies and would efficiently fit

in the dynamic field of nursing and create changes in the patients’ lives during their vulnerable

moments.

At school, I enjoy reading novels, watching movies, and helping other people online

during my free time. Moreover, I am a teamwork player who accommodates other people's

opinions in both learning and workplace environment. Other than being a team player, I am an

eloquent speaker who can effectively give directions and instructions to colleagues and patients

in the healthcare setup. Excellent communication competence would allow me to collaborate

with other care providers in determining the best care to offer to every patient. Such a

communication require openness and honesty, a trait I have always demonstrated since my

childhood. This competency would enable me to offer a better link between my patients and the

doctor. It would also help me in expressing myself to the patients' family and involving hem in

providing a patient's centered care to the clients

I have worked in various environments that required nurturing and caring for other needy

individuals. For instance, I take part in peer education schemes in where we counsel young

people against peer influence and other challenges that come with adolescence. Part of peer

education program entails creating awareness through games and sports, a mater that has

significantly enhanced my planning and organizational capabilities. I believe that these

experiences have provided a glimpse of what caring means and have strengthened my decision to

join the associate nursing profession. I will transfer part of these skills into my future role as an

associate nurse. Besides, I am a flexible person who can shift readily to new care roles within the

healthcare department as they may arise.

My research through the Florida National University indicates that it offers the best

training in associate nursing. The findings show that the college embraces diversity in is

provision of quality nursing education to students from various backgrounds despite their color,

ethnicity, religion, and age among others. My reasons for desiring to be a nurse include factors

such as reinforcing working environment the profession offers. As a Registered Nurse (RN), I

will be able to interact with many patients who come from diverse background and races hence

equipping me with adequate interpersonal relationship skills that are essential at work and social

life. Additionally, interacting with patients will help me to understand disease patterns better to

provide appropriate medication and contribute to research to prevent the prevalence of

infections. I also want to enter ADN program to attain job satisfaction concerning financial

appraisals and access to professional opportunities. Specifically, I admire the outstanding

financial compensations and benefits that RNs access due to the nature of their job. The

monetary appraisals shall enable me to achieve sustainability about personal needs and those of

family members in order to gain the necessary motivation to offer quality services. I believe that

a degree from his organization would adequately prepare me for a job at entry-level registered

nursing positions in the healthcare system. Additionally, I hope the program would offer

psychological, cognitive, and psychomotor skills to allow me to become a successful licensed

registered nurse who can offer patients centered care to the customers throughout the World.

Accordingly, his would help meet part of the goals of associate nursing, which entail offering

holistic, safe, culturally sensitive care to the sick to improve their care experience and

satisfaction.

I also want to be a nurse due to overwhelming opportunities the profession offers. In

particular, RNs have a wide variety of sponsorship opportunities to scale their studies and

explore other areas of interest. The opportunity help me to enroll for medical classes that are

relevant in along my profession in order to expand my knowledge in different health confines.

Continually, I want to be nurse because it offers a quick degree program. Contrary to other

courses that last for a period 4 to 6 years, nursing only lasts for 3 years to hence giving graduate

more time to concentrate in other important activities. In addition to quick degree, want to be a

nurse because it has a flexible work schedule. The profession allows experts to choose their

preferred time of working and ensures the period is adequate to avoid exhaustion that engagers

the patient’s lives. I have a deep-seated interest in associate nursing and I hope to have a long

and fulfilling career in this area by helping the needy and vulnerable people. Therefore, joining

Florida National University would be a step in the right direction towards the realization of his

dream.
