Introduction
The design of any research is an important stage for any research project and is a
dependable variable based on the research questions and the intended objective(s). For this
research, the various factors that influence the choice of travel of international students. Since
University of Nebraska Omaha has international students, data for the research will be obtained
from selected students and people from the aviation field for a period of two months. The sample
size for the research is 100 students. Survey research method will be employed thorough
interviews and administering of questionnaires. After the data has been collected, Analysis of
Variance (ANOVA) and statistical regression analysis will be used to analyze the data to
determine correlation.
Data collections and analysis
Permission will be requested from the international office of the university. Data
collection is through the survey method by administering questionnaires via online survey using
such platforms as Facebook groups for international students and using ILUNO which allows
student to do their survey and also by conducting one on one interview with selected students
and aviation personnel respondents. The variables were measured as follows. (1) Ticket prices.
An interview will be conducted on personnel from the aviation field and questionnaires
administered to selected international students and an open ended question of whether the ticket
prices of flights affect their choice travel will be asked. (2) Flight schedules. An interview or
questionnaire question will be asked on what flight schedule the respondent prefers and if
whether or not his/ her choice of travel is affected by schedules by airlines. (3) Reliability of the
scheduled airlines. A survey on the opinion of the respondent on the reliability of scheduled
airlines will be asked followed by a question on whether or not that affects his/her choice of
