Recovering from breakups
Breakups can be painful and hard to deal with. Mostly, our first instinct is to run away,
move on and do things that will distract us from the storms of emotions that consume our hearts
and destroy what we do daily. But how do we deal with breakups?
The first step to recovery would be going home. Everybody has a home whether it is to a
friend's place or family place. When going through a hard time, it is important to feel connected
and supported by the people you trust and love. It is always a blessing to have a place that you
can go to. Homes are like life insurance for our spirit. Family and friends are there to protect you
when you are going through dark times in your life, and they ensure your spirit is healthy, safe
and sound.
It is important to note that grief does you and not the other way round. Grief is always
there, and it comes without warning in spite of how well you try to avoid it. In the case of
heartbreak, let the screams and tears pour out. If it is necessary to cry, you have to weep; you
have no choice.
You can make love to a hobby. Instead, this will help you get through the breakup. Try
something that you love and one that loves you back. Everybody has something that they love
