Capitalism and Nature
The central theme of the discussion is about capitalism and the role it plays in sustaining
the society in its state. The relationship that exists between individuals and their employers is
more related to the environment of the workplace. In the historical view, the author claims that
the oil mining companies have grown and increased the value of the oil locally, as well as
globally. The benefit accrued to these operations will promote the mining resources and more so
the ground that produces.
Capitalism has contributed a lot to helping individuals to gain power and control over the
other countries. The oil has brought a transformation such that people who export have assumed
an international state of the market. They run the business from the global view. Moreover, the
oil-producing countries have come together to help promote the control over the prices and
distribution all over the world. Individuals have elevated capital over the politics as it has
become a subject of capitalism (Coronil 57).
The author uses Marxist theory to expound more on the role that capitalism plays in
defining socialism in the community. The influential people are those with money as they have
control over the others in the society. Moreover, they are always over the political regime that
