Communications and Media: Littering- The Clean Green Team
Introduction
I. Open with Impact: Have you ever wondered what environmental enthusiasts meant by
the statement, Liter and it will hurt”? Well, if you have not figured it out, then this
seems to be the opportunity because in as far as our project is concerned, the statement
has more significant connotation than never before. Moreover, you need to acknowledge,
“Litter on the ground degrades natural areas and kills plants and animals. All that it takes
is for a cat to get stuck in a bottle or a bird getting caught up in a soda can holder.
II. Focus on the Topic: From a broad perspective, our project aims to highlight the society
on the impacts that human activities have on the environment. As a matter of fact,
littering endures being an issue of national concern. The United States alone (leave alone
the whole world) spends vast sums of money to clean the litter that has not been
adequately disposed off. However, efforts to save the nation from using these funds on
the cleaning of litter begins at the grassroots level.
III. Audience Connect: How often do you litter? Quite often. Well, how often do you take
the initiative to clean up the litter? Surprisingly, less commonly, right? However, these
litters negatively influence your environment. Based on this fact, the Clean Green Team
takes the initiative to ensure that littering around Folsom Lake SRA is property managed
through appropriate approaches.

community, advertising the clean-up day, and organizing a community clean-up day.
