IV. Thesis: With the habit to litter and not clean up, the local community, especially that
around Folsom Lake SRA, needs cleanup programs. These will enable us to keep Folsom
Lake SRA clean, contribute towards helping the nation save funds, and use these funds
for purposes that benefit the community. We aim to raise awareness by engaging the
community, advertising the clean-up day, and organizing a community clean-up day.
Body
I. Firstly, we will define our project. These definitions will be sub-categorized into three
major elements. These include the following.
A. The broad definition, which will entail the human impact on the environment
1. Impact of littering on the living components of the environment, for
example, plants and animals.
2. Influence of scattering on the non-living constituents of the
environment, soil fertility, quality of air, etc.
B. The description of littering at the national and the local levels and these will
entail the following perspectives.
1. What constitutes littering at the national Levels?.
2. Littering at the local level, that is, around Folsom Lake SRA
II. Secondly, our group will then proceed to present our objectives.
A. Our core objective of the project is to create awareness around the issue of
littering.
B. In attaining this objective, many approaches will b adopted, and these include
the following.
1. Organization of a community clean-up day.
