Harley Davidson has very detailed mission and vision statements. The firm vision is
focused on creating beneficial relationships with key stakeholders while especially consumers
and employees (Thompson). Its mission statement is focused on fulfilling riders dreams for
unique experiences, expanding its line of products and created more branded items (Thompson).

Despite being an iconic firm, Harley Davidson faces stiff competition from a few
globally recognized brands. The top competitors are Victory Motorcycle, Yamaha Corporation,
Honda Motor Company, and Kawasaki Heavy Industries Motorcycle (Harley Davidson).

To be as big as Harley Davidson, then there must be great leaders. I currently do not
know one working there, but, If I were to reach someone, it would be the manager leading
innovation at the company. This is because I think the future of the business is in innovation and
would love to be a part of it.
Question 6
Two things that makes Harley Davidson interesting to me revolves around the firm
competitive advantages. First, the firm has very rich designs and innovative ideas as reflected by
their heavyweight motorbikes. Secondly, the firm is American and inspires an American feeling
of patriotism, freedom and fun. These factors would make it interesting to work there because
they are centered on creativity. I also like companies born and operated in USA because am
patriotic.
