The effectiveness of the speaker to achieve the desired outcome
The speaker strived to illustrate the expectation to the people who were already
terrified, he successfully indicated the gravity of matter that is why, at the end of the speech,
the listeners are roaring with determination and full of energy (Movieclips, 2015).
What the speaker did well (verbal and non-verbal)
First, the speaker did well by using Vocalics in communication such as repetition
which was meant to offer an emphasis on keywords and enable the listeners to understand
and take the information seriously. For example, he repeats the term ‘mankind’ twice to
illustrate the seriousness of the information. In terms of verbal communication, has used
fluent pronunciation and audible by the listeners.
What to improve to content and delivery
The communication may have been improved by speaking while moving on the
podium to illustrate the gravity of the message being delivered. Also, the communication may
have been improved through using hand gestures to reinstate specific words during the
speech.
What I would have done differently
If I were the one delivering the speech, I would have made it different by putting
different voice projecting to ensure the that listeners perceive the matter with more serious
and making them understand that the day was of more importance and only our devotion
would make it better.
What impact was left behind?

The speaker left hope among the listeners that they would survive. However, the
audience seemed to be carried away by the fact that they had to do what it takes in order to
survive and celebrate the independent day
How I was personally impacted
The speech impacted me through the seriousness of the speaker and when he looked
at his heart to signify the impact of the history of mankind and that the word was to have a
new meaning from that day onward.
