Part a. Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence is the kind of technology that is capable of
taking in a tremendous amount of data from a purview and using it to
perform a very complicated task. In Artificial intelligence, machines are
used to perform all the tasks. The tasks are normal tasks that can be
performed by humans but need a lot of strength and attention.
Organizations today have adopted artificial intelligence to develop the
organization and reduce workloads. This is because machines are
easier to use, diligent and very accurate.
Although organizations use artificial intelligence to improve their
performance and increase their profit, artificial intelligence is affecting
humans by increasing the number of unemployed citizens. This may be
because the machines are being made to do the same tasks humans
beings do (Duncan, 2012, p.1-4). Companies all over the world prefer
machines to human beings because, with the machine, they make a lot
of profit since machines do not need salary or supervision. Possibly, the
machines are considered as tools but not the completion of intelligence.
Since the machines are taking up the tasks humans should do,
humans are bound to go jobless or find jobs that require critical thinking
or take part in voluntary jobs (Duncan, 2012, p.1-4). Some of the jobs
which may be left for humans include taking care of elderly, court trials
or taking care of patients with psychological issues. These jobs may not
meet the qualifications of individuals and so, to work in companies,
humans will have to get more training and higher education to meet the
expectations.
The government cannot take care of citizens when a high
percentage of the population is unemployed. The government should,
therefore, find a way to minimize unemployment while allowing
organizations to employ the use of machines.
Part b. Medical Technology
Medical technology has become the biggest challenge in
communities and all over the world. The main issue being the price one
has to pay for it and whether it will guarantee good health. Either way,
when it is important, one will always find the need to get an implant or
any other available technology. If someone offered a safe way to end
human problems in one way or the other using safe means, almost

everyone would run for it provided they had the resources (Lee &
Mahajan, 1990, p.2-5). The enhancements may at times give hope to the
hopeless since it gives them the courage to face life another day.
These enhancements are presently done to only patients who are
in need of it. With development, this may not be the case since people
would feel the need to grow as the world grew (Lee & Mahajan, 1990,
p.2-5). Imagine having a mind that could communicate with everything
on earth without one making a single sound. This would be awesome,
and if someone offered me this, I would gladly accept it. The medical
developments are irresistible and in a few generations to come, almost
every single human being in the world's population will have an
enhancement in their body.
However, these enhancements in the body may have negative
effects which sometimes may go unnoticed. The development, on the
other hand, does not give people room to think before they make the
decisions. It is not the negative effects that will stop the need to
enhance human body but the need to stay natural and loyal to humanity.
