When I began my education at Arizona State University, I had a goal to make certain that I fulfilled
certain career objectives of which I am still continuing to gather essential knowledge towards its
fulfillment. Writing has always been more than a hobby to me and as I pursue this course in Professional
and Public Writing, I am hoping to grow my knowledge and skills within the field. I am more focused on
aspects such as editing, creative writing, research, and imaginative writing skills that will help in pursuing
my publishing career. Within the college, focusing on areas such as composition, communication, editing,
and journalism classes will make certain that I get to the point that I am aimed at in the long run.
In addition to the focus on my publishing career, I also have a number of other interests and
involvements. For instance, I am part of the soccer team, which has offered great exposure as far as non-
academic wise is concerned. I am also part of other programs and debates that make certain that I am
always busy within the school with the aim of developing my mental and technical capabilities.
