Purpose Statement: Cyberterrorism is a computer-related crime that has many devastating
impacts on the lives of many innocent people who fall victim to this vice and therefore needs our
concerted efforts to keep our cyberspace safe for us all.
Thesis Statement: The computers have come out to be the most critical innovation in the 21st
century for they are easy to use and provide easy access to information and entertainment from
all over the world. With the increase in the number of users, there are some terrible vices and
even crimes that are committed through the use of the same computers. One notable offense is
the Cyberterrorism, which is catalyzed by the increased terrorist network around the world.
Introduction: In the current generation, many people have and know how to operate computers,
which have come to be the most important invention of all times. The computers expose the user
to a wide range of information, sports, and entertainment from all over the world. Through this,
the users are presented to computer-related crimes such as Cyberterrorism, which not only
affects the social status of the victims but also leads to loss of lives.
Overview of Main Points: Cyberterrorism can be understood as a terrorist act committed by an
individual or a group of people within given cyberspace (Hardy & Williams, 2017). These acts
are usually acting of intimidation or blackmail on the victims. Hacking, for example, can be
classified as a Cyberterrorism act since is an intrusion into someone’s’ privacy for intimidation
or blackmail purposes. Cyberterrorism has lead to many terrorist activities around the world
