Disney World Resort Negative Reviews
Introduction
Disney World resort is a big entertainment complex located at the bay lake and Lake Vista near
Orlando. It was officially launched in 1971 by the “Walt Disney Resort and Parks” that are
owners and operators. The property covers about 28,000 acres of land and features theme parks,
water parks, entertainment venues, and resort hotels. Despite all these, the customers who visit
the place always come back with negative reviews about the experiences that they have. It is not
only sad but also contrary to their expectation as they would visit the place with the aim of
getting the best out of it. Shockingly, 90% of the resort comes back narrating their horrible
experiences in one way or another, and this unfortunate occurrence happens to both children and
adults (Reyers et al. 140). The paper will thus discuss negative reviews of Disney World ranging
from long lines, rude people, expensive entry tickets, food, and souvenirs.
To begin with, Walt Disney World Resort seems to be the best place for children to go
and have maximum, especially when the slogan "Where Dreams Come True" is echoed.
However, one can end up with a total disappointment as the dreams that drive the guests there
never come true to entirety. One might consider Walt Disney World Resort to be a paradise
because of the advertisements concerning their services and products. However, it does not turn
out as expected since there are long lines and no single product or service is charged below $10,
which makes the place non-inclusive. If one happens to take their young ones to this place, one is

most likely to observe their boredom, where they might start demanding to go back home after
about 20 minutes.
Importantly, the resort has an advert for children known as “The Fast Passes” that is very
common in media. It is a way of enticing them by claiming that, if they pay $25 to have some
ride, they will be allowed to cut 3 feet in front of everyone else, which is not always the case
(Reyers et al. 142). It is one of many misleading adverts that Walt Disney World Resort keeps
airing claiming to give a particular offer to the clients on a specific product or service, which
they, in turn, do not receive. There is no need of wasting much time trying to go for this offer;
maybe one can consider going to some other places, such as the beach within Walt Disney World
Resort.
Moreover, once a person visits Walt Disney World Resort, they should expect to see less
than 60% of what they targeted as the lines are longer than one imagines. Then, one is made to
stand on the cement for several hours at a time, making the experience not fun at all. For
children, this is even worse as attempts to make use of the Fast Pass are tied up since it can only
be used for several hours. Most of these queues are more than 90 minutes long, which means
spending a whole day on this stage. There are many trip members who complain this about this
typical problem. It, therefore calls for immediate attention of Walt Disney World Resort to
rectify such aspects before they go haywire.
More so, the meals are not very pleasing; the resort is not tailored to meet the demand of
the visitors. The prices therein are also highly unreasonable, and some visitors suggest that the
staff is not polite. It merely implies that the workers are either underpaid or overworked.
Whichever the case it is, it is essential to know that these workers are not motivated by any
chance, which is why Walt Disney World Resort should come in and try to stimulate the morale
of their personnel.

When it comes to accommodation, several challenges at Walt Disney World Resort are
evident. For instance, most shower rooms are not as tidy as expected. Furthermore, they lack
privacy, which is necessary mainly because the visitors carry their children. According to one of
the visitor's notes dropped into the suggestion box, the showers keep overflowing. There is hair
accumulated at the water tabs but hidden from the guest view. The observation is horrible
considering that, the visitor's son had already used the shower with a previous guest's hair
remnant. It is also disgusting to learn that a hotel of this class can lack the cleaning standards to
maintain hygiene and good health of the visitors. For those who come to the hotel with the aim
of more extended stay, the place is not a thoughtful consideration to think about as their health
safety is not guaranteed.
Finally, the Walt Disney World Resort management is not only slow but also
unapologetic for this bad behavior. For instance, one client gave out his dry cleaning to one of
the personnel members to never have it returned. As a result, the man had to hunt this stuff down
before departure. Another area where the hotel expresses its unapologetic nature is when it was
reluctant to rectify on the poor sanitary conditions. The questions arise in this regard of how hair
remnant of several visitors could remain trapped under shower tabs for so long without the
management attention, or how they could just let the new visitor see the waste of a previous
visitor. It is no different from serving the guests at some untidy tables. The behavior is not only
risky but also threatening to the customers’ health as it lowers the standards of the hotel. It is just
wisdom for the management to work in haste to ensure that all the complains that have not been
attended to are paid immediate attention.
Conclusion
In summary, just before families, adults, and children come to Walt Disney World Resort to
waste vast amounts of money, they read a number of reviews to think whether the experience is
going to be worthy of their time and money. There is no need of facing the same mistake twice.

If one attentively navigates through some of the above mentioned comments of the previous
guests of the park, one should not risk their health and good mood to later on have the same
complaints. As the management is unapologetically slow and not ready to rectify on the
perennial challenges, such as poor sanitation and long lines, once a person visits the place, they
do not have to expect anything different. There is no need of paying for services and then
watching as they go downhill. Most guests call it their last trip and promise themselves never to
waste a penny as well as the weekend again on Walt Disney World Resort.
