Do you believe that the atheist is successful in showing that the existence of evil is
incompatible with the presence of God? Why (not)? Support your view with reasons
First, many proofs indicate that there is the existence of the supreme God in spite of many
other indications of disapproval. However, there are also additional alleged proofs or the so-called
proofs from the evil that affirms the non-existence of the divine God. The understanding of the
tests that depicts God's non-existence is difficult in such a way that exceeds the study of the St.
Anselm’s or St. Thomas’ proofs. In this regard, there exist groups that support and withdraw their
support about the existence of gods, namely; theism, atheism, and agnosticism. Theism holds a
strong belief about the life of God or gods and more particular of a creator who has all the
intervention across the Universe. Atheisms usually contrast with theism in the sense that, in its
most general form, it fails to agree and believe that there is the existence of at least one deity. It
constitutes the group that is known to propagate and precipitate the problem of the evil that is
unacceptable by other religions. On the other hand, agnosticism fails to believe or disbelieve in a
god or religious agnosticism. Agnostics opine that there is the impossibility of human to
understand anything concerning the Universe and how it was created and if divine existing.
Therefore, this research paper focuses on examining believe and the success of the atheist in
showing that the existence of evil is incompatible with the presence of God.
An Atheist has demonstrated notable success in showing the non-existence of the Supreme
Being, god. Atheists have taught to appreciate the fact that there is who designed the actual
designer. Even though it has been planted in the Kalam Caricature derives a form of cosmological
argument’s that comes within the first premise. The statement that whatever that has a beginning
to exist have particular causation derives a positive discussion about the atheism. It doesn’t attempt
in dealing with the theoretical aspect of God in an event where God wellbeing may be decisively
refuted and confirmed and the arena of philosophy. Atheists state that God doesn't exist and if he
lives e ho would have proved his existence? The God that has been defended by all Christian
theists is eternal, transcendent and the spiritual being. He created all the physical realities, but for
himself, he is invisible and untouchable though existed before matter space, energy, and timing.
Being exempted from the natural world, the existence of God cannot be discovered or rejected by
virtual of science alone. Hence, the form of argument that may be made either against off towards
God ought to only be puzzled by is of the philosophical. The concept of evil is anchored on the
natural depravity which is non-divine, and it is possibly held as morally accountable as a result of
its occurrence. Exploring the concept of evil ensures that several forms of evil are identified that
mentions the absence of the heavenly deity. In this aspect may be attributable to humanity and its
activities. The challenges of the fundamental belief were benevolence or the omnipotent of deities
and the existent of deities including God himself.
The concept of evil also superseded any belief that atheists held because through a
Christian perspective, it was associated with wickedness. Atheist disproved any herald that God
existed even though queries stood between them who controls the nature and the Universe. Atheist
believed that God and his spirit must be visible which in this case was no persuasive because it
was never. They found on what seen despite the sign it carried in them mainly when heralding the
presence of divine God. The concept of evil and the distinction between moral and natural evil
created a gap between an atheist and a true believer in the sense that they differed in terms of belief
and ideology. The ideology about the existence of the Supreme Being was embraced by early
Christian's believers such the Judea's and therefore alienating those from their God mean a
violation of the will in God. However, some questions would arise as to who would atheist think
or believe is in control of the Universe. Often, atheists were people who believed on scientific
orientation, and they find highly accorded to science rather than religion. Even in the contemporary
world, it is believed that many individuals who vehemently believe in atheisms are a scientist.
They tend to prove their ideology using scientific facts which in this case able to troll down the
religious events and their result is that there isn't God.
The concept of the moral evil resulted from a perpetrator and the individual who acted with
an aim violated dome basic duty or engagement with some vices. In a natural aspect, the issue of
evilness had only few victims and it was perceived as a natural process. The aspect identified evil
only for the verge or perspective of those who remained inflicted and affected and those who felt
the aspect of infliction. An example, when people are inflicted with acute and deadly diseases such
as cancer, diabetes and HIV, it mitigates their comfort and goodness rendering them to believe that
there is Supreme Being controlling the scenario. Also, when there is vagaries of nature such violent
storms and tornadoes, earthquakes, tsunami and hurricanes, acts of the supreme being, God are
evincing and therefore atheists are left to think who may be behind these phenomena. In this regard,
some of this phenomena inflicted evil on victims perhaps as a way of punishment even though no
perpetrator could be blamed. God is the only controller of such powers of nature and humanity and
the idea and believe that the atheist hold that God is absent cannot be adopted. The atheist believe
is brought forth by scientists and the disputing aspects it have towards religion on the godly
presence creates a large gap between believers and the non-believers due to difference in religious
beliefs as well in ideology.
Many philosophers have come to the concurrence of evil as a punishment as result of wrong
doing. In this respect, atheist asked whether if it would be possible for the same god who would
protect his people to inflict them with the pain of evil if he indeed loved them. The question was
raised to thwart the idea that if indeed God existed, why should he let out his people suffer in the
verge of evil. Many philosophers accentuated on that aspect of the evil and the control that the
supreme God would have in respect to saving his human kind if he was indeed present. Atheist
continued and argued that the possibility that the supreme god was indeed present and living would
be evident if nobody in the human kind suffers. If they held that if god indeed was in love with his
people and wanted to rescue them, they he would not inflict them with ‘pain of the sins and from
their wickedness. God himself have punished human because of committing sins and for that
reason, punishment was inescapable. The problematic principle that God will reach the retribution
to the generation is only understandable to religious believer. However, it would be difficult to
influence and convince an atheist and would remain appalled on how the posterity would suffer of
the sake of sins committed by their forefathers hundreds of years ago.
On the other hand, there was the theory of free will defense that was postulated by Mackie.
The great philosopher reckons that the free will defense is basically a complete failure and drop
down. Mackie continues and argues that theory does not explain evil in any case because free will
is always good and great. The philosopher is angst in his argument when he states that if God is a
wholly holy good being, how he would wish for others to have a free will which one could not
love to happen for one he/she loved. Mackie’s opines that the very first thing to carry out is to
ensure that there is clearness concerning the this problem of the evils and the reason it indicates
that the belief in God was only lacking rational support, but also allowing evil to exist in a very
strong sense. The explanation of the theory have been one of the most powerful and possible
anticipated responses forwarded during the 20
Th
century. The ingenious argument that Mackie
makes on a free-will defense lacks the basis and therefore does not work. The reason behind is that
the reason and the impactions that the theory created was not in congruence with the fact that
Mackie wanted as to get.
In conclusion, there are many proofs that have indicated that there is the existence of the
supreme God in spite of many other disapproving indications. However, there are also additional
alleged proofs or the so-called proofs from the evil that affirms the non-existence of the divine
God. In this case, atheist has shown notable success in validating the non-existence of the Supreme
Being, God. They have also taught to appreciate the fact that there is who designed the actual
designer. Many philosophers have come to the concurrence of evil as a punishment as result of
wrong doing. In this respect, atheist asked whether if it would be possible for the same god who
would protect his people to inflict them with the pain of evil if he indeed loved them. Thus, the
research paper fulfils its purpose by examining on the believe and the success of the atheist in
showing that the existence of evil is incompatible with the presence of God.
