to compose the music. Therefore, they will be in a better position to understand the words the
meaning of the music that they will be singing (Marsh, Sloan McCombs, & Martorell, 2010).
Besides, it will make the students be compliant in class and attentive to other words that other
students will be giving in class. In the process, there will be a likelihood that some of the words
the learners will be giving will be new to other learners and therefore, it will be a chance for
other learners in the class to learn the new words. The pronunciation of words by the learners
may be very different among the learners and therefore a chance for the teacher to give the
correct pronunciation for words pronounced wrongly by the learners. Finally, the singing in class
will make each of the learners remember each of the words that will have been introduced during
the activity.
Part D
Dancing can be used in the learning of social studies. The activity in the class will be the
identification of the various ethnic groups of the students represented in a class by the learners.
The representative of the learners from each of the ethnic groups will be requested to dance for
the rest class using the traditional way they do it in their respective groups (Borman, Dorn &
Project Muse, 2007). Through each of the representative students dancing, they will help more
about their culture and therefore learn about the other people’s cultures. The best instructional
strategy, in this case, will be the free exploration strategy. Through this strategy, the teacher will
be able to observe what the manner of each student’s way of dancing, and will, therefore, be in a
position to examine the various culture that the students introduce to other students and even
explain them in a better way.
