The existence of God is a mystery that has eluded humans since time immemorial. In
Islamic religious teaching, the fundamental belief is that there is only one, universal,
supreme, all-knowing, all-powerful, and eternal God. The Islamic name for God is Allah,
which conveys a Supreme Being who is unique and has no associates or equals. In fact,
Allah’s name cannot be pluralized or limited to any gender, and His greatness is not
comparable to anything else. Despite the alleged supremacy and magnificence of God, many
people have continued to doubt his existence in the first place. Essentially, God is portrayed
as an abstract phenomenon that only exists in the minds of believers, but in the real sense, his
physical existence is a huge doubt.
To start with, it is difficult to understand the origin of the universe’s putative designer.
From the conception of the kalam cosmological theory, it is conveyed that anything that
begins to exist must have a cause. Thus, if God indeed exists, then he must have a beginning.
However, religion tells us that he is eternal, which implies without a beginning or end. In
fact, Allah is portrayed as a transcendent and spiritual being that was responsible for the
creation of the universe and was the earliest existence before all time, forms of life, or space.
However, since his presence beyond the natural world, it is not possible to confirm that he
has no beginning or end.
Moreover, religion seems to exploit the masses by creating for the dogmas, which
cannot be questioned or refuted. In religious teaching, people are expected to readily accept
what is told to them about God, without asking for evidence of these conceptions. According
to Karl Marx saying, “religion is the opium of the masses,” and hence, Islamists exploit the
people’s apparent credulousness in order to promote their faith. In fact, these Theologists
only convey a notion of God’s eternity, yet they cannot provide utterly convincing evidence.
Moreover, one of the three cardinal features of God conveys that God is omnipotent
(the other two are omnipresent and omniscient). By definition, omniscient means that God is
