Eurasia refers to a combination of both Europe and Asia continental landmass. There
were several religions for Eurasian during the period of 1450 CE up to 1750. They include
Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, and Protestantism among many others. During that time, Eurasian
religions were perceived to have both social and political impacts. In addition, in 20th and 21st
centuries, the same Eurasian faiths still have the social and political influence to the citizens.
The section of the paper below compares and contrasts the political and social impact of
Eurasian religions during the period of 1450 CE up to 1750 with the political and social
influence of the similar faiths in 20th and 21st centuries in the entire world.
Hinduism
Hinduism has various social impacts, which are similar in both cases. For example, in
both scenarios, it values the position of the woman in the society. It means women are viewed
and regarded to be more useful to the community. On the other hand, in olden time, Hinduism
religion resulted in the worshipping of the female goddess, which is not practiced at present. At
past, Hinduism led to increased levels of child marriages. However, at present, Hinduism does
not allow for child marriages. Concerning political impacts, in both cases, Hinduism has
initiated measures that are responsible for enhancing the quality of life of individuals. At past,
Hinduism caused high levels of oppression, which in turn lowered the level of religious tolerance

in the world. However, presently, Hinduism is making every country to emerge politically stable,
and hence there is an increased amount of spiritual understanding across the globe.
Islam
In both the past and present periods, Islamic religion has more influence on areas such as
the family structures. For example, it has improved the levels of social security in both cases as
well as eradicating slavery in the world. In contrast, the present Islam religion enlightens women
on their rights requiring that they should take prominent roles in the families unlike at past where
the part of women was neglected. Concerning political impacts, Islam in both periods has
strengthened the concept of kingship across the world. However, presently, Islam has facilitated
towards eradication of tribal leaders unlike in past where it supported tribalism in leadership.
Protestantism
On social matters, Protestantism in both periods has facilitated to the creation of rules,
which demanded that individuals could not marry if they do not observe celibacy. On the other
hand, at present, Protestantism has resulted in the massive creation of education changes of
humanism to modern schools unlike at past where Protestantism Religion had no interests in
promoting educational changes. Concerning political aspects, Protestantism
In both scenarios resulted in changes on state leading to liberalism. However, the modern
Protestantism has led to reduced confessional divisions unlike in past where Protestantism
religious resulted in the turmoil of conflicts and division.
Christianity
On social impacts, in both cases, Christianity has resulted in an enhancement of
civilization across the world. However, the present and past Christianity differs in several ways,
for example, in 21st and 20th centuries, Christianity has resulted to the creation of peace among

the citizens unlike in the 1750s where Christians were seen as threats and hence persecuted. In
both periods, Christianity contributes to a modified system of leadership where justice is
witnessed in all forms of leadership. The present Christian religion has influenced eradication of
paganism as well as leading into civil liberty unlike the old way of the Christian doctrine, which
failed to fight atheism.
Part 2
From the survey, the whole of 20th century was dominated by severe wars, which
affected the balance of power in the world. In 20th century, there were two types of wars. They
include WWI and WWII. However, the two wars had quite significant differences in various
factors. Such factors include the transport, weaponry, politics, geography, leadership, strategies
as well as the impacts on the civilians.
Concerning weaponry, WWI had many superior weapons more than in WWII. For
example, there were excellent weapons such as machine guns, bunkers. Towards the end of WW
I, there was a first replacement of tanks to aid the fight. The containers were later used during
the WWII. New weapons and the replacement of the first tanks spearheaded the rise of the World
War II. Therefore, they made war II appear much maneuvering.
Regarding transport, WWII had advanced technologies, which shaped the war unlike in
the WWI where technology was minimal. For example, in WWII, there were several airplanes
such as bombers and fighters, which facilitated the war. To some extent, the level of transport
was somehow related in both WWI and WWII. For example, the first idea for creating
submarines started at the end of WWI. However, there was a need to expand the concept of the
submarine. As a result, bombers laid a foundation for the beginning of WWII. In fact, the idea
for submarines as a means for transporting troops matured in World War II.

Regarding leadership, there were entirely different levels of leadership anticipation in
both WWI and WWII. In WWII, the administration appeared to be stronger than in World War I.
at some point there is a relationship on leadership between the two wars. For example, in both,
they considered administration as the key to their victory in the war. Several developments of
leadership during the end of world war I was, in turn, starting to appear like the coming days of
World War II which had breakthroughs and stable warfare.
Concerning geography, the maps for World War I appeared entirely different from the
charts for World War II. For example, in WWI, nations such as Russia and many others ceased
to exist. However, towards the end of the WWI, many countries were seen to emerge. The
knowledge of geography in WWI played a significant role towards the success of World War II.
World War II had significant effects on civilians more than the World War I. For
example, WWI was fought for about four years while WWII took close to 7 years. Therefore, in
WWII, civilians were significantly affected by the prolonged duration of war more than in WWI.
However, the two wars relate regarding effects on civilians in the sense that they both interfered
with the health and economic outcome of the citizens globally.
Politics in WWI were more encountered than in WWII. For example, the post-war
policies, which were faced with onerous terms for Versailles treaty, fueled the emergence of
Adolf Hitler movement in Germany. As a result, the party established in WWI stimulated the rise
of WWII. The support of Nazism, commonly known as a war veteran who at past was betrayed
by the Germans politicians created a firm base for the rise of World War II.
In conclusion, Eurasian religions being part of religious which cuts across the Europe and
Asia regions. There are several similarities based on the social and political impact of Eurasian
faiths in both during 1450 CE to 1750 CE and during 20th and 21st centuries. More so, there are

some different factors on the two periods, which are based on political and social impacts. On the
other hand, both WWI and WWII were entirely different from each other. However, in some
situations, the two wars seem to relate in one way or the other. The differences manifested in
areas such as transport, politics, geography among many others. It is from the WWI aftermaths
where we can trace the foundation for WWII.
