For the last couple of decades, efforts have been made to bring countries closer together
than ever before. Apparently, the development of the current world’s economy, as well as the
international relations, have for some time now become vulnerable to the evident overwhelming
effect of globalization which has affected almost every country across the globe. The process of
globalization is likely to be irrevocable once started. This paper intends to discuss the in-depth
issue of globalization as the world present today. In essence, globalization is a universal
progression of political, international economic and entire cultural integration of different
countries. However, economic integration remains to be the main driving force of globalization.
In this regards, the world as, therefore, be visualized as a global village where people interact
and connect to the rest of the world in many ways.
Primarily, in the recent past, globalization was mainly focused on the economic
development involving different nations, a trend that is changing the world. Factors of the
economy were considered as the important facet of globalization and therefore foreign
investments, as well as the flow of international capital, were considered as top issues in the
chart of globalization (Baylis, Smith, & Owens, 2017). The overall range has been widened,
therefore, bringing activities such as sports, politics, technology as well as social-cultural
heritage in play. Additionally, ecological issues and global climatic change have been of great
