GOON 2
Goon
Matters concerning the security and safety of players have risen recently due to hockey
players who play roughly. The movie Goon is about an audience who want to see one competitor
destroying their counterparts in the ring which is their joy (Dowse, 2012). It is an exciting story
of a character trait by the name Doug Smooth who feels like he must include in of the group.
Despite Doug, not intellect and doesn't know what to communicate, he is open about the support
offered to the hockey team that makes his tale interesting as a known formula from acquiring
wealth.
The movie starts where Doug Glatt is not a player in the hockey team from Orangetown and
supports Orangetown Assassins. In a particular night, Doug's right-hand man Pat who seems to
be cruel and rough heckles a player. In a few moments, Doug kicks the player to protect Pat.
Doug earned famous that made the Nicholas Campbell, the Assassinβs coach to sign him as an
enforcer. He upgraded his ranks when he joined Halifax Highlands more so after moving to
Canadian minor leagues. His parents discouraged his progress in hockey since they opted for him
to be either a doctor or a teacher, but Doug reinstated his ambitions but telling them "You have a
stupid son." Doug nicknamed "The Thug" that earned him a right image as the best enforcer that
guaranteed him the job to protect the team star players such as Xavier Lalflamme.
Despite the movie having a lot of severe fights in the hockey fields, what should not
focused on much is not about the brutality, but the role of Scott managers in their role in
ensuring there is love in the teams. Another interesting story is when a girl called by the name
Eva described as a bad girl who accepts Dougβs proposal for love because of his sincerity. The
scenario makes the goon story interesting.
