Hard Work Leads to Success
Many people argue differently about the correlation that exists between luck and success
or hard work and success. Whereas some believe in golden chances, others, rely on working hard
to attain what they want. For me, luck does not play any role in the determination of the
excellence and success of a person. I totally agree with the notion that success is achieved as a
result of hard word.
Hard work demands the use of excellent skills that steers an individual on their road to
success. Despite the challenges and shortcomings that may come along the way, hardworking
people will always achieve their goals because they have an urge to do so. Their continued
struggle and perseverance moves them towards their goal day in day out. There is no giving up
because that makes them losers. To be successful, people need to keep on trying until they
unlock secrets that guarantee their true success. For instance, Thomas Edison never gave up his
ambition to create the light bulb despite failing 10,000 times and more (Lidiya, 2013).
Additionally, success comes to individuals who yearn for more. The open minded
individuals will always strive to gain more information that will help them to activate and pursue
their goals. This knowledge cannot be achieved through luck but hard work. People fail because
of not knowing how to do something right. Hardworking individuals will take time to learn ways
of approaching a situation. With this, they finally conquer their obstacles and become best
achievers in their fields (Lee, 2014).
In conclusion, people should learn that there is no coincidental success. Determination
and effort are the ways that make and individual to be successful and stay successful. Individuals
who depend on luck always have a steeply rising and falling curve. They are not able to maintain
