Whether closing the facilities shall be beneficial to patients
Whereas one may argue that shutting down facilities will lead to improved health care
reasoning that facilities that are underutilized and wasteful shall be closed, one can also say that
the quality may deep owing to pressure on the remaining facilities. The reasoning behind
shutting down is supported by propositions such as the age of most of the facilities. Nonetheless,
consolidation of the latter may increase the prices of healthcare leading to un-affordability

On the question whether private providers can give better health care than the government,
the answer is in the affirmative. However, the paper notes that the sole intention of private care

Classification of Hospitals
Jackson North Class B with more than 100 beds and a general hospital, the hospital has no
training agreement nor does it offer training in collaboration with a university hence the
classification.
The Hialeah Hospital has a 378-bed capacity, however, like the Jackson hospital, the facility
does not offer training thus the classification as a class B.
The Kendall Regional hospital despite being a 417 bed hospital, it does not have a written
agreement approved by a University hence the classification as class B.
