This paper has evaluated ways in which Walmart Company has embraced the recent
technology to improve its relationship with customers and other retailers. The company achieves
this goal by developing various applications, and also installation of software’s in the stores to
facilitate effective services to their clients. Online shopping is a major approach that has allowed
the company to have a competitive advantage over other shops. The use of applications such as
Pangaea, Oneops and saving catcher are among the platforms that have proved to be useful for
Walmart. Other techniques like improving the website design and use of decoding method have
also made selling and ordering of products more convenient. The company has also created an
interlink that connects all retailers and suppliers to ensures a constant flow of product in the
supply chain. The installation of a system of tracking purchases done by customers has also
been reported to be very vital to success of the company.

the recent advances in technology to ensure its services are delivered well (Schuetz 38-48). The
effective customer service strategies have given Walmart a competitive advantage compared to
other companies with similar commodities. Therefore, this paper focuses on addressing the
strategies in which Walmart uses technology to create a business network with their customers.
Walmart has lately announced to its clients that they can effectively do online shopping
in their grocery. This has been put appropriate by installing the software to facilitate buying in
the central places with big stalls. This service has proved to increase the number of customers
visiting various sites of this company. Importantly, this has been reported to strengthen the
relationship between the company and their clients. This has also enhanced easier supplies of
commodities that are in shortage in one store, and thus customers’ needs are addressed within a
short time (Schuetz 38-48). The company has also created a mobile application through which
clients and different dealers interact. It allows customers problems to be solved more instantly as
