HUMAN RIGHTS 2
Introduction
Globally, every human must be treated with care while respecting their personalities.
Human rights are civil liberties intrinsic to every person irrespective of their race, gender,
nationality, culture, linguistic, belief or any other standing. These privileges include the right to
life and independence, liberty from captivity and torment, attitude and expression and the right to
labor and schooling (Clapham, 2015). Humans are eligible to all of these rights without
judgement.
Social justice involves sharing of prosperity, opportunities and freedoms in the public. If
any of this is violated under any context, then a social problem is created. Once people are
discriminated due to their status, then human rights become a social problem. The rights are
mainly undermined in our society when people are defined and consequently treated according to
their social status. Mostly, a certain group of individuals will be favored much compared to
others. Some people are denied some rights merely because of their status if even they have
lawfully met the necessary requirements (Clapham, 2015). Even though everyone should be
treated equally, some people are still pushed or rejected from the society.
Various federal governments have attempted to address the human right issue by
promoting equality among their citizens. They ensure that human dignity is equal for all by
facilitating services equally to all. They enhance antidiscrimination among their citizens due to
social status especially as they exercise their rights. Others have devised welfare systems where
they support the social wellbeing of their citizens.
Conclusion
As an individual I should first treat everyone just as I would like to be treated by others. I
can also campaign to my family members and friends the importance of respecting human rights
