IMPORTANCE OF A TEAM 2
Benefits of working in a team during the research process
Working in a team has several benefits such as maximizing the efforts of each person in a
research process. A team can be organized around a particular product under development while
others may be organized around a process like research or manufacturing. This organization
process helps each team member gain experience, benefit from teamwork, save time and money
for everyone, increase morale and efficiency in operations (Smith, 2015). In teamwork, the
participants are allowed to take a greater responsibility in making decisions and also enhance
control of the research process. Working as a team enables a company to be more flexible,
diverse and innovative because people from different backgrounds are pooled together to one
team, and better solutions for the problems can be generated.
Importance of teammate reviewing in a proposal
In teamwork, communication is a very important deliverable that can be used to
determine the success of a project. A researcher has a personal responsibility for ensuring that
project communication is achieved because it is one of the best ways to ignite action among team
members and influence results. Reviewing a project proposal with team mates is one way of
making corrections based on each person’s experience. The reviewed proposal can be adjusted
into manageable activities that can be delivered on time, within budget and with the involvement
of every team member.
How I used the feedback received
The feedback received helped the researcher in making corrections in the research outline
by streamlining the research problems, research questions, and scope of the study, hypothesis
