Specifically, the banking system computerized its services to offer reliable and faster services
to its customers. Most importantly, computer interaction have established employments to the
societies in the fields of teaching, designing, and manufacturing (Johnson 29). Therefore,
computer interaction is a beneficial concept that will make the world a better place as
technology advances.
In the contrary, computer interaction can associate some ill effect to the society. Most
people are dependent in computer too much even in simple arithmetic leading to loss of
individual’s numerical abilities. Besides, when there is loss on data stored in computer, it
becomes difficult to get them back especially when there is no proper backup or when the
data are not stored in the cloud (Johnson 26). As a matter of fact, computer interaction
increase the rate of unemployment since computerization have taken part in many
organizational work and even those that requires decision making, therefore, less manpower
is needed just to control the computers. On the other hand, the society has to incur additional
cost in training and acquiring human computer interaction concepts. Most importantly,
computer interaction is associated with health effects that may compromise the lives of
human. Spending too much time on computers can results in eye problems.
Therefore, computer interaction is a double edged sword with advantages and
limitations. However, when computers are used effectively, they will deliver commercial
value in our society.
