Industrial Revolution
The dynamic in which the industrial revolution changed the American culture by introducing
labor unions that ensured that workers rights were protected. The manifestation of ensuring that
wages and working condition of workers were achieved to avoid exploitation from the industry.
However, the problems related to workers were oppressive and had to take action since there was
a division of classes, the low social class, and the high social class as well as the division
between workers and the merchants. The establishment of this level of involvement ensured that
the poor social quality was treated with no respect and seen as a burden and this called for an
uprising to ensure that their voices respected. Racial discrimination also promoted biases towards
the workers who were African Americans; they did not get the same treatment and privileges as
the white, and they suffered.
The other factor is the establishment of improved innovation especially in the 19th century that
involved using new sources of power and energy. However, through the advancement of modern
technology, the workers were affected since the innovations did not benefit their family and led
to low pay. The aspect of workers having to work to feed their family was so complicated that
the factor of inequality of the minority groups was so severe and they needed change, this
promoted to the minority to rise and defend their right to the proper treatment of the workforce.
The establishment of the industrial revolution provided the establishment of eradicating the
traditional methods to ensure that the new industrial processes would protect workers right to fair
and safe working condition by the installation of labor unions.
