Island of Lemurs
From watching the movie, the first fact that I learned is that lemurs’ lineage is old since
they have existed since dinosaurs’ age where one would not think this is the case. The second
fact learned is that lemurs’ survival skills are high where one would expect dinosaurs to survive
the asteroid attack that made them extinct as opposed to lemurs. The third peculiar fact that I
learned is that lemurs only live in Madagascar and not anywhere else on earth. The fourth fact
learned is that conservation is important as only small bodied lemurs remain whereas bigger ones
existed with gorilla like sizes. The fifth fact learned and a lesson is that humans have not stopped
destruction of animal habitats which are a treasure in favor of aspects such as farming. The sixth
fact learned is that female lemurs are dominant in terms of having control over males where one
would expect the opposite. The seventh fact learned is that lemurs have the fascinating ability to
show emotions such as love at first site which one would expect in humans only. The eighth fact
learned is that the movie used Morgan Freeman, a renowned actor in the narration which was no
coincidence as his presence signified the magnitude and impact when it comes to conservation.

productions revealing the fluidity in the film industry where one would expect such players in
