It was my first time to join the drug program which was organized by the church. I came

across a man who was narrating his to the people how he used to drink alcoholic. The man was

30 years old according to his identity card but by the look was 50 years. The man was actually

shaking due to the addition of the alcoholic and his cloth signifies the bad life of alcoholic. The

story initially touched many people in the program and some even cried on the spot. The present

of the psychologist was an advantage to the man because he was given the medicine to control

the shaking of the body. Later the man gained strength and was in a stable condition. From his

story of addition to alcoholic and the teaching from the psychologist, I leaned that drug abuse is

very dangerous to our bodies. However, counseling on drug addiction is very important to the

people affected by the drug in our community. Therefore it important to guide the drug addicted

people to be taken through the counseling process in order to regain their sense back.

During the progress of the program, the man was actually active through participating in the

communication during the situation areas. Unfortunately, the man confessed to having been

involved in the robbery in the areas which made people even shocked. The psychologist

controlled the people and exploited that drug abuse initially leads crime. However, the man was

ready to change with the effort of the psychologist and rehabilitation center been established in

the area. I noted that to be the psychologist is passion because it hard to handle drug addicted and

giving pieces of advice to them until one accepts to stop the drug abuse like an alcoholic. The

psychologist actually assists us in describing for us the cause of drug abuse and measures taken

to control drug abuse. In addition, the psychologist also said that most of the people addicted

with alcoholic have the problem with the lungs and are at high risk of contracting diseases.

Consequently, alcoholic addition can be managed at any level to avoid death in future; therefore

the man was taken to the rehabilitation center for more treatment. From this scenario, I learned

that drug addiction like the alcoholic is very dangerous and it can destroy your life within a

second of time.

The second experience or scene took place school were the youth had organized drug

rehabilitation program which all the people in the areas were invested. The place was fully with

different people categories and this encouraged people who were actually affected by the drug

abuse addiction. Many people represented their experience one after the other and they were

guided on the proper measurement to take in order to reduced addiction of alcoholic and bangi

because is the most common in the areas. I learnt that most people affected by the alcoholic

addition were the young people who actually haven’t yet finished their education level. During

the session more openness was seen and the psychologist actually practiced his talent through

handling them and encouraging the affected people on measurement of drug addiction.

From the narration of stories by different people, I learnt that alcoholic was the main common

drug addiction used by the youth because it is less costly and affordable. The psychologist

encouraged the families of the drug addicted people and promised them to fully assist in the

rehabilitation program. I also noted that most of the alcoholic addicted people are not involves in

the daily work in the community. However, the chief assured that alcoholic should be reduces

and will use this authority to make that the business of selling illegal alcohol is closed. He also

reminded young on the consequences of drug in their life and encouraged them to build their

future.

In conclusion, the teaching and experienced heard from the two journal indicates that addition of

drug is actually misleading the life of young people. Therefore, I have learnt that it good to

involve the drug addicted people (alcoholic) in rehabilitation program so that they can be treated

and advised on the measures. The learner is in a position to gain more teaching from the

experience which has been shown in the two cases.
