JUPITER’S GREAT RED SPOT 2
Introduction
National Aeronautics and Space Administration NASA is concerned with the study of the
universe. These include the earth and all other items that surround the earth. Their current study
indicates that the Great Red Spot has been changing and today it is lost. The scientist has no
clear explanation of why the spot has disappeared. This is one worrying factor to the astronauts.
Several pictures that indicate of the Red Sport and how it disappeared were taken with the
scientists. This paper describes the vanishing of the Jupiter’s Great Red Sport.
Great Red Sport
The Great Red Spot width is estimated at as 16,000 kilometers (Duffy, 2018). The size is
large enough for the eye to fit in the Eye of the Storm. The rate of shrinking in the past had
predicted its loss by 2030. The sudden disappearance of the spot is a great loss an enigma in the
solar system. Studies indicate that greater spot swallows eddies which can cancel the storms. The
process of confirming the disappearance an astrologist needs to measure the speed of wind and
direction of Wind. The earth has the anticyclones which are regions of the high pressure. If the
strengths of the storm increase such that they cannot be contained in the anticyclones, they fall
on earth surface where they are absorbed. Conversely, the Jupiter does not have the land
surfaces that can absorb the pressure of the storm. Therefore, the building of storms increases
beyond the normal. The issue of concern is that the planet spans slowly and Obtaining the
maximum force to spread the storm is difficult hence a concern to the Astronomers.
The formation of the storms was noticed as early as the year 2000. The formation of the
new storms known as Oval was noticed in the planet Jupiter which joined the three smaller
systems (Ernst, 2018). The scientists suggested that the Red Sport was just a particularly
