LADY WINDERMERE'S FAN
The plot
Lady Windermere's Fan produced the first play which established the success of the play in the
stage of London. The real character of lady Windermere was discovered through making a
decision of leaving his husband due to the unfaithful act against her and opts to take her mother
instead. The play starts in a situation where lady Windermere was preparing the roses for the
preparation of her birthday in the evening. During the arrangement, Darlington comes in the
house and starts to flirt with the lady. She was not interested with the Darlington because the
family members discovered his intention and decided to shame him by a statement that I do not
like respects but tell him she thinks he is really a good quality man who is only imagining being
bad than most men.
The play also shows that Victorian was much interested in her, despite Darlington had already
failed in love to her. This made her more pain and accused his husband of having an affair with
another woman. In addition, the Duchess initially narrates the story to Lady Windermere that her
husband was seen with Mrs. Erlyne and our husband paid her some money. However, lady
Windermere denied all story and gave excuses they were married for just two years. Later, she
tried to investigate the matter through her husband bank book in the desk and found nothing in
the book. Unfortunately, she discovered another book on the desk and found the Mrs. Erlynnes
names and the sum of money paid to her. The truth will set you free, her husband found that her
wife had an evident on his her with Mrs. Erlynnes in her hand, therefore he decided to tell her the
real story in order to protect the relationship with her wife. Lord Windermere actually confessed
to having loved her wife; therefore, her wife had no option but to accept.
In the second section of the play, Duchess is actually reacting in different state to her daughter
concerning the dance card. Therefore he considered Victorian to be involved with the younger
men because she is big and a dancer for young girls. In this section Mr, Wilde actually makes
the comment that people who are no opinion of their own referring to the Mr Dummy. This made
an argument between them and they decide to have a season of the dreadfully dull. Lady
Windermere behavior had changed due to the action of her husband and started to doult of her
love. However, his husband insisted on her trust toward him and also stated that London is full of
women or wife who really trusts their husband. Lady windermere trust to her husband declined
and option to venture to other men, but she noted that she can make big mistakes when she goes
away from Lord Dalington. During the conservation in Darlington apartment with the two
women present Lady Windermere explained to Mrs Erlynne about his husband relationship with
her, but she defended herself and said that the relationship with Lord Windermere is innocent
and assured her that he can never cross her relationship.
Lady Windermere is much concerned about her nature like the security on the lives and ways to
avoid the temptation of sin in the relationship. She noted that Mrs Erlynne has talked to Lord
Windermere that she has been in Darlington apartment and they are about to leave the country.
However, lady Windermere thanked Mrs Erlynne for the decision he made and decide to confess
to her husband. She actually noted that mrs Erlynne was a good woman and learnt about the
relationship in our life
