MASS INCARCERATION
‘Mass Incarceration' is all about the current America experiment in the imprisonment of Africa
America men. America mass imprisonment is currently going to great heights. The topic closely
talks about the racial discrimination of Africa America black men. According to my understanding
on these topics have come up with various reasons on how these black men are being
discriminated, where the black men have gone and the state denial that black men assume despite
the hard experiences in America.
In these topics, we have opened our minds to the brutality black men face in America whether
citizens there or immigrants. The drug war which was launched in America on social media,
magazines and even publically was not actually a drug war but black men war. According to my
analysis, this war was a way of eliminating and chasing away black men from white men's
territories. This is it because according to statistics on drug abuse it is clear that eighty percent of
drug abusers and peddlers are the white youths only thirty percent are black men. But it is so
paradoxical that with this statistic in hand, the jails and prisons in America are filled by black men
who are accused of drug usage and yet very few in those jails are Americans. Being a war on drugs
in America the largest percentage of prisoners are drug accusers while only a small percentage
covers crimes like conflict and murder. In this cells, the America criminals who are accused of
drug usage are very few. Mass incarceration is growing to greater heights because of the
consequently increasing number of Africa America men. During the campaign on drugs, America
puts very tight punishment on whoever caught on contempt of the law. They announced this crime
to be referred as a felon and its punishment to be a death sentence or life imprisonment in order to
sweep away the black men. This mass incarceration is going on in America because they believe
black men are not supposed to live with them, this discrimination is the one that causes all these

incarceration sagas. There are many areas where these Africa America men are being
discriminated, for instance in employment, owning property, accessing health facilities and
housing. (Alexander, 2010)
According to my review, the large number of black men missing in their homes is not because they
are irresponsible, immature, poor or unfaithful but because they are locked up in jails for crimes
they have not committed. Due to the discriminatory montage practices in America black men are
on probation or under correctional control systems where they are denied the freedom of accessing
their customers, food stamps and even the freedom of airing out their views. While in court they
are denied a chance to oppose their crimes since after being arrested they are directly taken to jail
for one month after which they are taken out and forced to accept their contempt of court. This is
only done to black men, this does not mean the Americans do not commit such crimes but actually,
such cases are rampant with the America youths but when caught in the crimes the police tend to
ignore. It is so surprising that the black men are rarely involved in such cases but are forced to
carry across that does not belong to them. As far as America feels to have triumphed over
inequality it is clear in these topics that equality is an unknown jargon to them. We get to see the
topics that when Baraka Obama is being nominated as a president, a certain percentage seem to
oppose it because he is a black American or a black man. It is due to this racial discrimination that
the mass incarceration is practiced in America. (Locking up Black Residents and Punishing The
Poor, 2014)
Mass imprisonment is a topic that clearly indicates that this black man did not come out of their
families by themselves, but they were handicapped to jail even leaving their important projects,
families, belongings and even occasions. While in prison, these black men lose what they had
covered including jobs, cars, and investments. This statement is witnessed by Clifford Ronald who

is arrested when in a burial of his loved daughter, the police give him no time to even view his
daughter for the last time but instead, they push him to custody without any more explanations
from him. This is the great reason why black women are widows and children fatherless.
According to my view, mass incarceration is trying to show us the challenges African people face
when in the White land. Again the topic on "Locking up black dissidents" shows the main missions
of Americans to come up with drunk war for they wanted to arrest African American people, to
some extends, these mass imprisonments bring out a far idea of how most people are suffering in
prisons and probations for crimes they never committed.
In my understanding mass incarceration is doing away with many lives, a thing that is experienced
in entire Africa, this is because the ratio of men to women is unbalanced. This is not because
newborn boys are less than newborn girls, but the fact is, most black men are rotting in probations,
jails and a small number is involved in gay in America and the rest married to white ladies. These
"black men" means black people in general. This is so because we see even women who were
learned are also getting imprisoned in America. For example, a single mother referred as Erma
Faye Stewart is imprisoned for the drunk crime and meets all these brutal sentences given in
American courts.
Finally, denial is an aspect that is contributing to mass incarceration in America. This is because
the successful people hide upon by the local black men are ignorant, for they do not solve this
issue of discrimination of black men in America. This incarceration is growing to greater heights
because, the rest of the black men who are not jailed, try to ignore this challenges and take a step
of migrating to America in many numbers making them increase the imprisonment cases.
(Alexander M. , 2010)

MASS INCARCERATION
In conclusion, these topics seem to be very important for they have really explored the mass
incarceration, a thing that many did not know. They try to table out the challenges faced by African
American residents and they have also enlightened us on the resolutions to this problems, for
example, by coming up with a campaign on Criminal justice forum. Again the topics have tried to
solve the problem of immigrants and lastly, it has tabled out the idea that, though we talk of rights
in our various countries, the rights have not yet been achieved by other countries.
