The major success of the world’s changing trend can is secondary to the broadening of
the learning process. What is learning? One may want to understand, due to the extensive field
that encompasses various thoughts. Albeit, many schools of thought have different definitions,
Lukman, & Krajnc (2012) outlines that learning is a process through which public conduct, life
values, knowledge, and skills are modified, acquired and reinforced. In this essay, we explore the
various methods of learning that preserving man’s relevance.
The first method of learning is the solitary process. This method uses self-study, and the
learner understands best through learning alone in a conducive environment. Visual learning is
another method used in education, and it is suitable for the individuals who prefer the use of
colors, pictures as well as drawing maps in their mind just to capture the lesson. The other
method of learning is the verbal method where the learner prefers the use of words, both in their
writing and making of speech in their learning, for example, they read their content aloud. On the
other hand, aural learning uses sound, for instance, music and recordings (Davis, & Arend,
2013).
Davis & Arend (2013) explain another interesting method, which is the use of logic. The
learners who use logic have an aim to interpret the reasoning behind an occurrence and
conceptualize the broader aspect of a lesson. The penultimate method of learning is the social
learning, which includes the use of group work or learning with others at all possible times. The
last method of learning is the physical way where one learns by actively doing certain activities
in the learning process. These activities may involve the use of drawing and the use of natural
objects
In conclusion, Peterson et al., (2015) illustrate that people differ in many ways and
therefore prefer a particular path that improves their understanding. Besides, all the methods of

learning need combination so that learning remains solidified. Therefore, teachers must often
engage a variety of the techniques, understand their students and ensure they pass the vital
current. The choice of the method of learning is in great sympathy with the practical outcome.
