MOTIVATIONAL TECHNIQUE 2
Motivational Technique
Motivation assumes the pure definition of the internal and external factors that trigger the
desire for commitment to tasks and responsibilities. This also refers to the persistent efforts
displayed towards attaining different goals in life. I believe that different people find various
interests in achieving their objectives in life. From my experience, the socialisation motivation
helps individuals to adjust in different environments especially when there is the peer pressure. I
have used the socialisation motivation to gain the feeling of acceptance during my early teenage
years. During that time, I tried to merge with the crowds in a bid to entertain my friends with the
hope of gaining their approval.
In my experience, I have seen educators use the socialisation motivation to promote the
pro-social behavior among children. I remember my middle school English teacher encouraging
sharing of library books and creating study partners in class. Over-time I learnt to be a role
model among my peers with a desire to lend a helping hand. Therefore, I believe that
socialisation has a deeply embedded socio-cultural influence that can help trigger the undying
effort to accomplish tasks among children at the elementary level.
In this regard, it is apparent that the people may face demanding situations in life where
they have to adhere to societal standards. This motivation technique is valid since it triggers
internal competency which comes with a productive outcome, predominantly with elementary
school children.
