My best self,

Seven years from today I see myself having my woods in a very busy city, however in a

developing country situated along sea banks. Having grown in a town located miles away from

the sea banks and where the population was scarce and pursued me to pursue public relations and

administration bachelor degree in order to get the opportunity to socialize with many people

across the country, or even the world at large, administer developing organization and bring them

to a higher status. I see myself living in a city where winter is not a critical season and where

summer seasons prevail more compared to winter season, where wearing light clothes is the

daily attire creating a room for more outdoor activities. The reason for this ambition is that I am

an ENTJ MTBI type an extrovert to be in specific (Thoreau).

Public recognition is my thing. Pursuing public relations and administration was to match

my character with my career and strongly build my strength as a career. In seven years, I will

have done my masters and doctorate in public relations and administration and working in a

government, the Ministry of administration as a cabinet secretary in that docket as the most

accountable, transparent and outspoken minister. I will be surrounded by secretaries, drivers to

accompany me as I deliver my expected roles and duties to the people of the country. I will be so

tied down to meetings to attend to with various committees, conferences, and public gatherings.

Since spending time and socializing with individuals in a group as always being my best

moments, learn, listen and try to solve issues affecting the individuals in those groups.

I will be spending my leisure times in swimming along ocean banks, playing volleyball

and participate in bicycle riding of my bicycle club. Other than having leisure time on sports

activities, I will be holding a party for my workmates and friends just to spend time together and

get to know each other better, something that always excites me. Getting to know more of the

people one works with or surrounds you helps one to determine the kind of decisions to make

affecting such people (Thoreau) for instance, in case of holding a party for your subordinates will

help me understand them deeper and learn the way to involve them in a decision-making process.

Accountability is one of my major principles that I strongly believe in and great support.

Accountability refers to justifying, responsible, explaining and being answerable for your

actions, duties and what assigned to you. I believe that accountability determines the success or

the failure of a given department or docket. I believe to have a well-defined result in an

organization, accountability must be well pronounced. Secondly, being outspoken is among my

best characteristics. I like holding the public address in any meeting or conference I attend and

hiring loud my view of circumstances and issues in discussion. This character of being

outspoken is normally more pronounced when interacting with other individuals and groups.

Transparency is another characteristic that I have always reflected in my internship and in the

leading role as a university finance secretary. Transparency refers to disclosing all information

required or needed by all parties involved ("What Is Transparency? Definition and Meaning").

I need to prepare for unexpected. This includes understanding well what is involved and

needed in my study field area. Public administration is a wide field that needs a lot of planning in

prior as it majorly includes understanding how a government operates. This will help me avoid

and also be informed of possible chaos or challenges that may come on my way as I pursue my

career in public relations and administration. Planning always will help me to have a plan B of

doing things. Living a rhetoric life (Thoreau). Being rhetoric implies getting responses from

people on their perception of life. Since my career involves interacting and dealing with people

or society. Getting to know people or society you will deal with later enables one to know how to

influence others. For example, learning others, it installs me confidence and gains the power to

influence and later achieve the best in for career goals.

Learning to be responsible for your actions and to everyone ("30 Things You Need To

Know To Be Successful in Life"). This is a key driver to maintain my principle of transparency

and accountability. Something that is vital for my career and brings out the best out me.

Developing self-awareness is also another thing that I will need to build in order to extract best

out of me. Self-awareness involves getting to know how others see you and are in a position to

get along with and work more easily. Aiming going beyond the required will help me be

successful and get the best out of me and maintaining the success in competing to outdo what

you have already achieved. Aiming going beyond and seeking a greater purpose will be

In Life") Being confident in what I am doing is another skill that I will need to have to keep my

focus on achieving my long-term goals and vision at large.

Generally, I will need a family and a society to belong to. I would like to have a nuclear

family composed of three children and parents. I would also like to be living with my full

composition of a nuclear family in the city I will be living in a bungalow situated in an area with

proper infrastructure. Lastly, the people surrounding me should be of all classes in society. I

always enjoy most interacting and getting to know more of all classes of people in society.

Conclusively, achieving all the above discussed will be the best self.
