Currently I am a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Mandy Centre for Rehabilitation. I joined
this organization after completing my degree in nursing at Indiana University of Health sciences
(Brunero et al 2017). In this position, I have been able to deal with all types of patients having
different complicated mental health issues. I have therefore experience to handle people who are
mentally challenged and to deal with their behaviors which at times can be violent.

Personal Statement
A philosophy can be defined as the study of important nature of knowledge realities and existence
of disciplines in academic. There are ethical values that I hold so dearly which include; autonomy,
respect, beneficence, justice, veracity and fidelity (Hunter et al 2015). Others usually comment
that I treat mental health patients with the highest respect at all times. When I have mentally
challenged patients that tell me not to change I feel proud that I became a Mental Health Nurse
Practitioner so that I can help others. In my Mental Health nursing practice, I borrowed the theory
of Watson on philosophy of mental health nursing and caring.
Personal goals
The goals of my life as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is to;
Provide important nursing aid and treat patients affected by many mental health issues such
as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, dementia,
and reactive attachment disorder.
Giving care to patients who are mentally unhealthy
Work with doctors in understanding and carrying out tests, medical, consultations, and
