PROJECT EVALUATION TOOL: SURVEY 2
Project Evaluation Tool: Survey
A survey is the project evaluation tool that will be used to evaluate this management plan
during its implementation. The purpose of the evaluation is to establish whether or not it has
achieved it set goals, challenges faced, and the outcomes. In this regard, the use of a survey has
been identified as the most appropriate project evaluation tool for this purpose. The survey will
be crafted carefully so as to take the pulse of a group of the beneficiaries of the plan at the
beginning of its implementation and then again upon its implementation (Zmud, 2013). It was
also selected because of its flexibility since it can be used in measuring various elements of a
project such as attitudes of the participants, preferences of the target population, achievement of
the project implementation, and the self-esteem of the management plan implementation team,
among other factors.
The surveying of the intended audience will enable the plan implementation team to set
the bar for the success of the plan once it has been implemented (Fowler, 2013). In the event that
the results of the post-program survey shows that there is improvement, then that will be
interpreted to mean that the implementation process is bound to achieve the set goals of
enhancing the control, prevention, and management of CAUTIs.
It is also notable that there are several ways through which surveys can be conducted.
Such include electronically, use of paper, and pencil, and interviews. In this case, it will be done
through electronic means such as online systems like SurveyMonkey (Johnson, 2014). The
results obtained from the system will be analyzed to draw conclusions on the success rate of the
management plan implementation.
