the partner following breakup or divorce. Therefore the study focuses on the origin,
development, and manifestation of the mental or behavioural disorder. Jessica in his article of
convergence of naïve explains how partner’s psychological relationship exists despite having
a post break-up .(Murray & Murray, 2010). Her findings reveal that relationship dissolution
plays a big role in human health and psychological well-being. It is due to adjustment
following a separation experience. Additionally, other scholars have agreed with Bowlby’s
attachment theory which is essential to study adjustment following relationship dissolution.
Attachment and emotion
Involves face-to-face interaction and individual difference in face-face interaction.
People are close to each other hence, it is easy for them to manage and control their emotion.
Other factors that can regulate attachment and emotion include affective mirroring,
attachment theory, and neurobehavioral approach (Murray & Murray, 2010). On parental
attachment, factors such as child’s developmental stage, the structure of the family, child
biology and gender play a big role.
Mentalization and reflective functioning
In this case, parental reflective function is the key. This is because it will be able to
manage self against child focused. The role of parental RF, therefore, comes into conduct
which wills results to impishness of emotion (Murray & Murray, 2010). According to
Jessica, an origin of reflective functioning depends on a lot of the emotion of the individual.
Sometimes it correlates amongst parental and sensitive parenting making parents relationship
with children remains constant.

amongst therapist and client attachment with treatment outcome (Fiorillo et al., 2013).
Emotional-focused couple therapy can be used in maintaining the relationship
amongst the partners. But it does not apply to children since; they have child-parent therapy
as shown in Lieberman model (Murray & Murray, 2010). Basic theoretical; tenets of the
model and techniques approach
From the above-discussed disorders, the following are some of following substance;
lower focus on the child, more focus on the substance which has lower sensitivity, distress all
around for child and parents sees a child as the burden, impediment to drug use (Fiorillo et
al., 2013). Additionally, many interactions will be under the influence, lack of bonding and
potential loss of the parent. Anxiety has the following effect; hypervigilance towards the
