Introduction 
The largest cat species of all is the Tiger which is (Panthera tigris) and are distinctive 
because  of  their  recognizable  pattern  of  dark  vertical  stripes  on  their  fur  for  camouflaging 
purposes when hunting prey and normally with a white under belly. The Tiger belongs to the 
Kingdom Animalia, phylum Chordata, class Mammalia, order Carnivora, suborder Feliformia, 
family Felidae, genus Panthera and the species P. tigris. The white tiger (Panthera tigris tigris) is 
a subspecies and is commonly known as the White Bengal Tiger and is native to the Indian sub-
continent  but  they  remain  the  largest  population  of  tigers  among  the  other  subspecies.  Their 
populations  are  currently  found  in  Bangladesh,  Bhutan,  India  and  Nepal.  Their  habitat 
distribution  is  varied  as  they  may be found  in  tropical  forests,  mangrove  swamps  and  moist 
jungles. From its order of classification, P. tigris is a feeds on flesh of large and medium sized 
animals  mostly angulates  and  mostly hunt during  the  night.  The  adult  tigers  normally  live  a 
solitary life and are known for their skills of establishing and maintaining their territories. Tigers 
have been listed in the IUCN red list as endangered species due to its decreasing population.

The location of the observer was at his desk viewing the animal live through live cam highlights 
of the Tiger in its feeding station at the big cat rescue with the temperature being at 16
o
F with a 
clear sky and sunny conditions.
