In the play findings, the film begins with a trumpet sound which was a song of the prehistoric
times called “dead man party.” Initially, this lyric plays on a dark television for a few seconds till
when the guitar joins the trumpets and their after Halliday surfaces in the film (Cline 2). The play
here depicts Halliday as a much young man in his forty’s and healthier in looking just the same
way he did on the time magazine cover photo in 2014. Lastly, in correlation of the movies ideal
of the depicting the early days, Halliday is captured wearing the same clothes that he wore in the
time magazine photo.
Just like the movie was based on Hallidays teenage days, the film evidences him at a college
dance competition held in a large gymnastic in a gathering of other teenagers whose lifestyle
codes of hairstyle, dancing styles and clothes are similar to the traditional styles of the 1980s.
The act further envisions Halliday dancing in a rare dance style that the authors says had never
seen him dance in real life. Seeming to be enjoying the dance as he was swinging his arms and
nodding his head, Hallidays said life style of isolation captures him dancing with no compatriot
(Cline 3). In due course, as the dance beat continued, some text lines appeared on the end corner
of the televising screen indicating the band name, record label, song title and its year of realize.
