Introduction
The world needs stability for economic growth of various nations. Maintaining global
peace is crucial for security. The world without an order would be a dangerous place. The united
states have this responsibility because after world war they became the most powerful nation.
Their army became the most powerful regarding strength and power.
According to Michael (2013), the president of the United States controls the most
powerful military in the world. After the world war, the United States became the most powerful
concerning the economy and military power. The president of the United States uses these
responsibilities to prevent conflicts between great nations. American soldiers deployed in Europe
and Asia have preserved security for these regions, prevented a rise of hostility and reduced risk
of using nuclear weapon among between great nations. American power has not only contributed
to peace since the end of the world war but also lead to economic development to various
countries. If the united states spend less effort in keeping the order, the world will experience an
increase in security challenges which to manage would be a big problem (Jeremy, 2013).
Despite 9/11 attacks, the world has experienced a steady decline in violence and steady
rise of economic growth. This was due to lack of power conflicts among great nations. But in the
Middle East violence is rising again. We are not aware when the United States can ignore global
security or retreat in their role of keeping the peace. American presidents have turned to high
power to ask them to share the problem of keeping the peace. During the cold war, the world
relied on the west to help sustain the stability of Asia and Europe. But reliance on the United
States has weakened them. The world needs a new concept for keeping peace and security on
earth. We can’t rely on the west alone. The world should come with a vision on how to keep the
peace by sharing the burden involved. But still, the United States remains the only nation that
