The first way to make self-motivation effective is by connecting to your values. This is an
ultimate secret to being self-motivated, if one can be in a position to discover or interact with
self-values, even in the slight ways, it means you can be able to change your game. Besides,
when you can connect to self-values, you can build up your developmental and growth values.
Also, this method allows you to be in a position to develop ways and strategies of growing your
skills in any given situation.
The second effective way to self-motivation is by finding why you do what you, behave
the way you do and above all, your purpose in life. According to Geller (2016),this can be done
by figuring out a critical and a adding up mission or purpose. After which you are supposed to
turn it into a one-liner. A good example is when in a horse riding competition, you happen to
fall, you do not just disappear and feel sorry for yourself, and instead, you get up and continue
with the race.
The other effective way to motivation is by changing you're why the decision, at a certain
stage in life, one may find that he or she has continually been doing things in the wrong way and
for the wrong purpose. When they realize that, they should change their why purpose, that when
they begin to create a sense of self-realization. To add to that, changing your how objective, is an
important way of making self-motivation effective. This means that people can often find their
tasks done which is enjoyable, but they can find more happiness in shifting from getting them
done to appropriately doing them.
For you to make self-motivation effective, you have to remember how it feels. When
people engage their thoughts in self-evaluation exercise, they make self-motivation effective.

Remembering the feeling, is an important method, in self-motivation, this means that you can
recall all that has been happening in your entire life, up to date, with this you can know what to
change and what are your strengths. More to that, you can ask uplifting questions whenever you
wake and when you are retiring to bed. When you wake and realize you need to know some
crucial things in life, you begin to ask critical questions like, what am I, how the life you live
make you do and finally what motivates you or what makes you happy in life.
To make self-motivation effective, you can start by doing the most difficult things in life. This
action will ease your daily worries since when you try something you felt was difficult, you feel
you can make it in life. Hence you become self-motivated. Besides, you can enhance this by
reading more about successful people who at some point you will realize; they all began by
taking part in a difficult task (Hagger, 2016). Conversely, for you to make an effective self-
motivation, you need to get out of you comfort zone; this is done by bravely facing your
challenges, which brings a real booster to your motivation. In conclusion, you can write down
your goals and the reasons for working towards achieving them. You can either tape them on
your computer or even in notebooks, by doing this; you can remember your purpose in life.
