Social Conflict
Consequently, the theoretical perspective that best portrays my worldview is the social
conflict theory. Unfortunately, in every society, you must be able to identify at least an element
of prejudice directed towards a given cohort of that society. Such bigotry can be in the form of
racial, gender, religious or age discrimination. However, such chauvinisms in most cases result
only in a two-way outcome, a ‘loss-win’ situation. Nonetheless, winners of such societal
prejudgments are always against the attempts to initiate change in the society. Perhaps, such
occurrences in the society are the proof of Karl Marx’s views that the capitalistic society is a
ground for class struggle. According to Marx, the struggle is pitched between the bourgeoisie
