fits my circumstances since the program is online based. Therefore, it will be perfect for me to
improve myself by obtaining a master’s degree while also managing my other responsibilities.
Different education, work, and life experiences brought me to the decision to apply to the
MPH program. While working as a nutritionist, I have the necessary work experience with
enhanced knowledge of creating and monitoring comprehensive diets to deal with a variety of
health-related issues. I have realized various accomplishments in my career as a nutritionist,
especially when dealing with autism. Foremost, I have assisted in training in autism therapist
sessions and family resource center department at Erin Oak Kids center. Secondly, I have helped
in material preparation for the autism and speech therapy departments. Notably, I have a son
with autism. Therefore, I believe that health education is important for a mother to understand
and deal with her children in a proper way. That is the reason why I am encouraged to be in the
public health sector.
My various experiences as a nutritionist are as follows. Foremost, I have assisted patients
to maintain a healthy diet to achieve an optimal body weight by losing and gaining weight.
Secondly, I have solved clients’ health problems by counselling and set an appropriate diet plan
for each client which resulted in reducing high blood pressure, cholesterol and complications for
diabetes. Thirdly, I have been tasked with the role of ensuring that cleanliness rules are being
followed by the kitchen staff. Other work experiences include helping in the management of a
nutritional program in the hospital, controlling activity regarding food service to the patients, and
worked with the doctors in preparation for the patient food menus. Furthermore, I have
calculated patients' nutritional requirements using standard equations based on assessments of
blood chemistry, stress, mobility and other relevant factors. I have also analyzed patients’ dietary
needs, making plans accordingly for proper nutrition of clients belonging to gyms. My
