The industrial revolution resulted in radical changes in individuals' lives. The middle and
the upper-class were top beneficiaries of the industrial revolution
. The two classes were made
up of successful and wealthy individuals. Businesspersons such as factory and shop owners and
professionals such as doctors and lawyers constituted the middle class. However, there existed
the working set in the society: it was the poorest that could not make sufficient money from
farming and had to work in the factories. The industrial revolution led to the improved lifestyle
of the working class in the society through the creation of employment and access to medical
facilities.
The expansion of factories signaled that to meet the industrial demands, an additional
workforce was necessary. Consequently, the less privileged classes got the opportunity to work
in the industries
. This opportunity gave them a chance to have an engagement that could enable
them to earn a living. There were reduced prices on items, which made it possible for the
working class to survive with the little money they got as wages from the factory owners.
Reduction in costs of items served as a huge relief since the named group had little to spare.
The access to medical facilities was made possible for the working class. There was the
development of medical services, which guaranteed the working class a chance to access the
facilities. The establishment of medical amenities was a huge boost, especially for women. The
antiseptics, which were a result of developments in medicine allowed females to subsist the
intensively painful labor pain
