Currently, the urge of doing away with “white and black” as far as racial discrimination is
concerned has taken another direction. Many nations have made various attempts to bring
different races together to bridge the gap that has been existing for a long time. In this context, I
will discuss Space Trade in relation to racial discrimination in the United States. Many
individuals at the shore were surprised by the fact that the leader of the Armada from the space
was able to speak English. Despite being from a different race, they are welcomed by the
Americans at the shore and they receive a welcoming word from the leader of the US delegation.
However, the leader in is welcoming statement does not address the traders appropriately.
Importantly, through the advent of space trade, the US acquires some of the valuable
resources such a gold brought by the space explorers. Besides, space trade helped in solving
some of the common problems such as pollution and bankruptcy that were common in the US
during that period. The space trade brought a nuclear fuel which eventually settled the fossil fuel
crisis in the US. However, in exchange for these valuable resources, the explorers only wanted
their fellow Asians Americans who were in the US and take them back to their home (Jared 44).
Many of the welcoming officials in the occasion were left speechless. The visitors emphasized
the fact that they never had any intention of causing trouble, but they wanted a peaceful trade.
So, whether the American accepted their proposal or not, they made their made visitors agreed
not to use any force. The leader of the explorers then made it clear that in exchange of the
valuable products from the space they wanted all the people categorized as black in the United
States of America (Dyson & Paul 61). The space traders gave the Americans six days to make
their mind concerning their offers.
Surprisingly, the black Americans were not happy with the offer. They would never trust
the space traders despite racial discrimination in the United States of America. The black
Americans had then been living in an environment full of hardship. Not a single black was in the
cabinet, the sick were not allowed outdoors, and even the government itself had massive debts.
Consequently, some of the Africans supported the space trader's offers hoping that the proposals
would be a solution most of the problems in the nation.
Racial discrimination in the US went to another level where the government neglected
the black American. No black American supported the US president during his election, and he
felt that he owes them nothing. It is for this reason that he did not include any of the black
Americans in his cabinet (Deliovsky & Tamari 161). The racial crisis became worse in the year
1990. During this period the black Americans civil rights were greatly abused. Only 20% of the
black Americans living in the United States then managed to survive in a technologically
oriented society in that era. Many of the black Americans were suspended from being American
citizens. The US government built high walls and confined the black Americans in areas where
they would not mix with the white Americans.

Black Americans initiated a movement to advocate for their rights. Acceptance of the
offer granted by the space traders meant that almost 15% of the US population would be
exchanged with the valuable resources from the space traders. This situation led to the formation
of the Anti-Trade Coalition be the black and liberal white Politicians. The coalition was formed
to help in advocating against racial discrimination and violation of the human rights. The alliance
also helped the black Americans to disclose many of the evil government plans against the black
Africans. The government of the United States tried all that they could to ensure that the black
was transported to the outer space. This situation brought civil war to its peak as the black
Americans were even more determined to fight for their rights.
Voting that was conducted to ascertain if the US civilians accepted the offer indicated
that most of the people supported the offer. The individuals who were 70 years and above, the ill,
and the injured were excluded as per the agreement. The remaining black Americans were later
on suspended from being the US citizens. The administration also selected the black Americans
with good records of loyalty. The chosen individuals would then be used to move the other black
Americans to the coastal part of the country where they would be picked by the space traders
(Kim 117). The government through its armed force decided to move all the black Americans to
the coast where they would then have transported to the outer space by the space traders. It is at
this point that many Africans lost their lives due the excessive forces used by the US federal and
the state police. However, some black Americans managed to escape.
This act brought a sense of self-blame to various personalities in the United States of America.
Golightly even blames himself for having failed to convince the leader of the anti-trade coalition
to heed listen to their rhetoric (Gordon 84). Later, he tries to escape from the US to Canada, but
he is stopped at the boundary. However, he and some other leaders in the government gained a
lot of wealth from the trade.
The space trade in this context depicts racism in the United States and it is particularly
evidenced by the United States government officials. Besides, the ordinary White Americans
who voted for the transportation of the Black Americans into the outer space also indicate a high
level of racism during that period. The government of the United States discriminates the black
Americans to the extent of isolating them from the other citizens. They are confined at a
commonplace covered with high walls with tight security where would not leave to meet with
others. As mentioned in the article, the life in the US was even worst for the sick, lame, or
anyone with injuries. They were not allowed to walk in the public unless they covered their faces
that they could not be seen. Thirst for wealth is also seen in the article where the government
decided to sell its citizen in exchange for wealth in space trade.
