Experience at Boston Opera House
In the past, I had a negative attitude towards attending theater shows. Considerably, I was
brought up in an environment where watching Television and movies on the computer was the
common type of entertainment. Although I had not visited the theater, I thought that such
performances are not as entertaining as those in television programs or recorded shows.
However, this perception changed after visiting the Boston Opera House for Ballet performance.
The experience at this theater show made me regret about the liveliness that I had missed all this
time.
With increased technology, theater venues are arguably the ideal entertainment points. At
Boston Opera House, I was seated in the middle of the theater. In such a position I did not
experience any problems with viewership or the sound of the performance. In the theater,
speakers are fitted in strategic points, and the sound system is clear. Unlike in the previous times
when people scrambled for the front seats, at the moment, the seating arrangement does not have
any influence on the receivership of the performance (Ayres 504). Considerably, most people
have started shifting back to the theater rather than watching television programs (Fox 43). For
instance, while watching the ballet at Boston Opera House, I felt that I was part of the
performance. I realized that a lot of cinematographic aspects used in recorded movies and songs
isolate naturalness from performances. At Boston Opera House, I was highly attentive.
Considerably, I believe that this was because there were no chances of a replay of scenes. The

experience at Boston Opera House demonstrated how technology had brought back the vigor that
was associated with theater before the emergence of the television culture.
