Introduction
I am going to venture in a Home Cleaning Services business. This is due to the fact that there are
many households that require exemplary cleaning services efficiently and effectively through the
use of technology.
Scope of the problem
Many home owners lack an efficient home cleaning services that can perform their services as,
and when required and at a competitive price. The main problem is that in most cases technology
is not integrated in the process of delivering the services thus leading to inefficiency which
would further lead to dissatisfied customers.
How it works
There would be a website and mobile application that would allow the home owners to select
which cleaning service they need. They would also be able to state where they are located and
when they need the service. The information would enable the caregivers to offer the service at
the required time after the customers have made their payment. The customers would also be
able to give feedback on how good the service was offered.
Business model and positioning
The customers would be able to credit to our account via Paypal for the services to be offered.
They would also be able to rate our services on the website or on the mobile application. The
feedback would enable us to improve our services. The home cleaning services platform would
be advertised on the social media and also in print media. The website would be the main
platform to generate income.
Venture Planning Strategy: Determine Entrepreneur Readiness 3
Business or market challenges
The major challenge expected may be convincing customers to embrace the use of the website
and mobile app to request for our services.
